Investtech introduces a new analysis function. Compare the price development of a stock with 26,000 other stocks, commodities and indices. Pick from a top list with the most relevant peers. A possible strategy could be to buy stocks that are trailing peers or to buy stocks that show relative strength.

New product: Trend signals (31st January 2010)
Investtech published a research report just before Christmas which showed that stocks which enter a rising trend in the medium term, provide significantly better return than benchmark in the same period of time. Read more about the report here. Based on results from this research, we have created a new product which gives our members a quick overview of trend signals. The new product is located in the menu on the left hand side under “Trend signals”. The product is available to Trader and Professional members.

Good opportunities in active trading (11th June 2009)
After the recent rise in the market, it appears we are past the bottom for now. The situation is much like the one in 2003. The results of the Model Portfolios for the fourth quarter, 2007 (10 January 2008)
Investtech's Model Portfolios fell in the fourth quarter with, on average, 1.4 percentage points in relation to the reference index. The portfolios for Norway and Sweden showed excellent results, with returns of respectively 5.7 and 10.6 percentage points better than the index.

The results of the Model Portfolios for the forth quarter, 2006 (4 January 2007)
Investtech's Model Portfolios rose in the fourth quarter with, on average, 9.4 percentage points in relation to the reference index. In particular, the portfolios in Sweden and Netherlands showed excellent results, with excess returns of respectively 18.9 and 18.6 percentage points.

The results of the Model Portfolios for the third quarter, 2006 (10 October 2006)
Investtech's Model Portfolios fell in the third quarter with, on average, 0.7 percentage points in relation to the reference index. In particular, the portfolios for Sweden drew the average down by a return of 13.9 percentage points weaker than the index. The portfolio for United Kingdom beat the index by 9.9 percentage points. The results so far this year have been good, with returns averaging 10.1 percentage points better than the reference index.

Investtech's Model Portfolios fell in the second quarter with, on average, 0.6 percentage points in relation to the reference index. In particular, the portfolios for Germany and Finland drew the average down by a returns of 5.9 and 5.4 percentage points weaker than the index. The portfolio for United States beat the index by 7.2 percentage points.

Lately Investtech has been getting more institional investors as customers. These have been asking for various further improvements and adjustments of our analysis products. This summer, Investtech will therefor launch a new subscription level, especially tailored for the most active and professional users. We are happy that we already now can give all our users a taste of a product that will be included in this new subscribtion level.

What is Trading Opportunities? (April 6 2005)
Sometimes stocks can show combinations of technical factors that strongly indicate large price movements. It is rare for such combinations to occur, but when they do, there will often be possibilities for very profitable trades. We call this Trading Opportunities.

This document describes 10 types of trading opportunities. For each of these, the theory behind the opportunity is described, and how the various parameters such as recommended buying price, price target and stop loss are calculated. In the introduction the terms that are common to all trading opportunities are described.

Investtech's Model Portfolios rose in the first quarter with, on average, 8.1 percentage points in relation to the reference index. In particular, the portfolios in Sweden, Denmark and USA showed excellent results, with excess returns of respectively 12.7, 11.3 and 15.2 percentage points.
