Oslo Børs weakly higher Wednesday

The market showed a small gain Wednesday, and Hovedindeksen ended the day at 1348 points, which is an increase of 0.3 percent. The index has thereby closed up 16 out of the past 21 days.

151 shares showed a gain and 139 showed a loss. 27 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 13 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Wednesday was approximately 5.0 billion.

Kongsberg Gruppen showed a small gain and ended the day at 765 kroner, which is an increase of 0.5 percent. The stock has thereby closed up 20 out of the past 25 days and this past month the stock has gained as much as 13.7 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 490 kroner and a further increase is indicated.
Schibsted B showed a small loss and ended the day at 301 kroner, which is a decline of 0.3 percent. The stock has now fallen for the eighth day in a row. It does, however, look good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Orkla ASA closed at 79.05 kroner after a solid gain of 2.5 percent. The stock has never gained more in one day since Nov 17. 2023, when it was up 3.4 percent. The stock broke up through the resistance at 77.76 kroner in rectangle formation. This triggered a buy signal on increasing volume and a further increase to 79.83 kroner within three months is indicated.
Nordic Mining gained 4.0 percent to 20.72 kroner. The stock has not closed higher since Mar 2023. The stock has thereby closed up 14 out of the past 18 days. The stock is with that up 14.9 percent after the buy signal from the rectangle formation two weeks ago.
Norske Skog rose sharply to close at 35.70 kroner, up 5.6 percent. The previous time the stock gained this much was Nov 2. 2023, when it closed up 9.4 percent. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term.
