Oslo Børs weakly higher Friday

The market showed a small gain Friday, and Hovedindeksen ended the day at 1366 points, which is an increase of 0.5 percent. The week as a whole showed a gain of 1.8 percent.

200 shares showed a gain and 96 showed a loss. 20 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 14 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Friday was approximately 8.3 billion.

Yara International ended with a steep loss of 6.2 percent and closed at 319 kroner. The previous time the stock lost this much was Oct 20. 2023, when it closed down 6.3 percent. The stock triggered a sell signal by the break down through the support at 320 kroner in rectangle formation. A further drop to 293 kroner within six months is indicated. The volume was also high. At session end it was bought and sold shares for about 1071 million kroner in the stock, which equals four times mean daily turnover.
Gram Car Carriers increased slightly 0.4 percent and ended the day at 258 kroner. This past week the stock has gained as much as 27.8 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 223 kroner and a further increase is indicated.
MPC Container Ships closed at 17.26 kroner after a solid gain of 5.9 percent. The stock has now risen for the sixth day in a row and this past month the stock has gained as much as 48.5 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 14.50 kroner and a further increase is indicated.
Odfjell B closed at 152 kroner after posting a gain of 5.2 percent. We must go back to Apr 25. 2023 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 7.6 percent. The stock has thereby closed up ten out of the past 12 days and this past month the stock has gained as much as 27.7 percent. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 42 millions kroner in the stock, which is nine times as much as normal daily turnover. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 131 kroner and a further increase is indicated.
Aker Solutions was up 8.5 percent to close at 42.60 kroner. The stock thereby broke the earlier top it set Jan 5 and reached a new year-high. The volume was also high. At session end it was bought and sold shares for about 147 million kroner in the stock, which equals three times mean daily turnover. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, but has broken up through resistance at 41.50 kroner.
